Discover our story, mission, and passion for the ancient art of bonsai.
My fascination with bonsai began when I first watched "The Karate Kid" as a child. The scene where Mr. Miyagi meticulously pruned his bonsai trees captivated my imagination and planted a seed that would grow into a lifelong passion.
Completely self-taught, I spent countless hours researching techniques, studying different species, and learning through trial and error. What started with a single tree soon grew into an extensive collection that completely took over my backyard. Friends and family watched in amazement as my passion transformed every available space into a bonsai sanctuary.
Through years of dedicated self-study, experimentation, and hands-on practice, I developed the skills and knowledge that would eventually become the foundation of Bonsai Lex. Every mistake was a learning opportunity, every success a step closer to mastery.
On April 27, 2024, I was thrilled to open the doors to Bonsai Lex - a dream realized after years of self-taught dedication. Our Bonsai Lex Nursery & Studio is more than just a place to buy trees; it's a community hub where fellow enthusiasts can gather, learn, and share their love for this ancient art form.
